I am currently a fully certified coach from the TPA. I have been involved in coaching tennis in Canada for 3 years, as well as 2 years in Vietnam as an assistant teacher at the university level.
My tennis career started over 15 years ago in Vietnam with my father who is a professional tennis coach. Being able to learn tennis from my father since I was a child, I have a privilege to understand most of obstacles and challenges that people have to face when they are first introduced to the game.
My love for tennis and teaching can be seen every time I step on court or whenever I have a chance to discuss anything about tennis. I am passionate about the development of children or adult in the game of tennis and I am willing to help bring up the level of their games.
Shajitha is a long time member of the Armadale Tennis Club and previous participant of the junior program. With over 20 years of playing tennis and the last 3 focused on coaching at Armadale Tennis Club and Angus Glen Tennis Courts, she strives to help others fall in love with the game and become a lifetime player as well.
She teaches levels ranging from beginners to advance, of all ages, primarily focusing on introducing new players to the game through fundamentals, and match play.
I am a tennis instructor certified by TPA with over 6 years of tennis coaching experience at various clubs across Toronto and Markham. I have over 18 years of tennis experience and competed in provincial, national, and ITF tournaments. I love teaching and sharing my tennis experiences with other tennis enthusiasts and the next generation to help them build their love for the game and improve their skills as well. I look forward to seeing you all on the court!
Tyler brings a wealth of quality experience both coaching and playing to the team at Armadale Tennis Club. As a player, Tyler is a 2013 LOSSA (high school) champion and placed 3rd at 2015 U18 National Selections. He has competed at provincials, nationals, and international tournaments.
As a coach, Tyler has seven years of experience. He has coached at the prestigious Donalda Golf and Country Club, Angus Glen Tennis Centre, and Unionville Tennis Club, where he is entering his 6th season. Tyler has learned from the very best in the business. His mentor, Andy Sutton at Unionville, is the head of Tennis Canada’s coaching development program. Karl Hale, at Donalda, is the tournament director of the National Bank Open (formerly known as the Rogers Cup).
Tyler holds Tennis Canada’s Club Professional 2 certification, an accolade less than 9% of active coaches in Canada have. Furthermore, when Tyler completed his CP2 at 20 years of age, he was the youngest to hold it at the time. Tyler is excited to join the outstanding coaching team at Armadale Tennis Club and is looking forward to meeting ATC members and helping them get the absolute best out of their game.
