Calvin brings a deep passion for tennis and a teaching style that is simple, intuitive, and kinaesthetic, focusing on learning through movement and feel. Despite picking up the sport less than 10 years ago, his rapid development as both a player and coach reflects his strong dedication and enthusiasm for the game. He is currently a tennis pro at Mayfair and Unionville Tennis Club (UTC), working with players of all ages and skill levels.

A certified TPA Club Pro 1 instructor and ERSA-certified stringer. Calvin strung at the 2023 ATP Challenger in Calgary and is also the official stringer of Premier Racquet Clubs Markham. A true tennis geek (ask him anything about racquets and strings!) and recovering hockey dad, he is deeply involved in the tennis community as an InterCounty (IC) Division Chair, Co-Captain, and former Junior IC Captain.

Calvin is known for being extremely knowledgeable, patient, and motivating; helping his students improve while having fun on court. He is excited to be part of the Armadale Tennis Club community.

Through his eighteen years of tennis experience, Nicholas has established a track record of high achievement. Nicholas performed at an exceptionally high level from a young age, competing at provincial, national, and international tournaments. After a successful junior career, Nicholas transitioned to becoming a student-athlete playing varsity tennis at the University of Toronto. He also excelled as an academic, graduating with honours from the highly competitive U of T finance program.

As a coach, Nicholas has worked with hundreds of students at Angus Glen Tennis Centre, University of Toronto Scarborough Tennis Centre, and Armadale Tennis Club. He is fully certified by the Tennis Professional's Association of Canada and has seven years of coaching experience. Nicholas speaks fluent English and Cantonese. This allows him to pass on his expertise to an even greater demographic.

Nicholas' fun, high-energy approach to coaching tennis has been loved universally by students of all ages alike. His years of quality coaching experience combined with his high playing level give him the ability to help students of all abilities push their game to the next level. Nicholas' incredibly high standards are not only seen in his lessons but throughout the entire STA program.
